I love these. You make the crockpot meals ahead of time, then freeze them in gallon ziplock freezer bags. They're ready to go whenever you want a home-cooked, easy meal.
I spend Saturday's chopping onions, garlic, peppers, browning steak, and getting all the sauces together. Then, the night before, I take a frozen bag out, put it in the fridge, then drop it in the slow cooker the next morning. We get home, and dinner is done! And I didn't have to do anything that morning to get it ready...so I can spend it getting the kids lunches together and making sure they have hats, mittens, etc...because they always forget something, right?
