Dad's With Little Girls Must Be Creative

by Bryan Scott

As a father of a little girl (actually, she's 10, but she'll always be my baby girl), there are a lot of everyday challenges. One of my biggest problems was learning how to get her ready for school when mom isn't there to help. We have to find an acceptable matching outfit. Breakfast has to be somewhat healthy. And then there is the hair! How are we supposed to do a little girl's hair. I mean, we never played with dolls when we were younger. We never braided our best friends hair at sleepovers. However, we did occasionally try to braid the dogs hair, but that's a whole different story!

As guys, we try to find shortcuts for everything we do. Getting our daughters ready for school is no exception. Check out this fool-proof way to make a ponytail...
