Count on Disney to make just about anything feel good when it comes to the movies. "A spoonful of sugar" is always the primary ingredient in any recipe from the Mouse. One of my personal Christmas traditions is to catch a couple of films on December 25.
Prior to one of them, I saw this:
Imagine Slumdog Millionaire and Angels in the Outfield had a love child. I don't mean that in a good way. I am also unconvinced that Jon Hamm, despite his Mad Men success, can carry the lead in a motion picture. He is clearly there to draw in the female audience, curious to note as the gal next to me simply said "That looks terrible."
I guess we'll see how well Disney delivers this pitch next spring.
