SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether says a recently released survey of a thousand residents shows a high perception of bad drivers.
Huether says he agrees with the perception because he sees red light runners all the time.
He says some drivers aren’t used to driving in bigger cities. But he says there are also residents who are used to getting to their destination in ten to twelve minutes. The Mayor says now it takes fifteen to eighteen minutes and they're cutting corners which creates a dangerous situation.
Sioux Falls lone, red light camera at Minnesota and 10th Street was removed in 2011 after the Mayor decided not to pursue a court battle.
