Minneapolis, MN (KELO-AM) You can now buy a piece of Metrodome history - the old stadium's bright blue seats.
More than 60,000 of the stadium's old seats, still in good shape after 31 years, will be available in sets of three to six for $60 a seat. Non-profit groups and community organizations will be charged $40 a seat.
Michele Kelm-Helgen, chair of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, says you can also buy specific seats that may have special memories associated with them, but it will cost you extra - $80 a seat.
The seats will be removed by January 18, when power is shut of and the Metrodome's roof is deflated. To find out more about the sale, go to http://www.msfa.com/
