SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Police say local credit card numbers have been compromised from a variety of financial institutions but investigators have not determined a source.

Captain Greg Vandekamp says at least a hundred victims have been identified so far.

Vandekamp says it appears the numbers were taken from a local business.  He says the suspects will sell the numbers to second group of suspects who spend freely.  He says the numbers have been used all over the United States.

Vandekamp advises regularly monitoring your account balances.

He says the Secret Service is also in the investigation.  The fraud has been occurring for a month or more.
