SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce will bring educators and the business community together Friday for a Superintendent's Roundtable.
Chamber Marketing and Communications Manager Amy Smolik says the event helps members understand the challenges and opportunities facing school districts.
Smolik says the roundtable comes as the South Dakota Legislature just finished this year's session. Smolik says each superintendent will be asked an invidual question specific to their district and they'll be asked about the recently passed school sentinal bill. They'll also have time to talk about their district's successes.
Superintendents from Harrisburg, Lennox, Sioux Falls public and parochial, Tri-Valley and West Central will attend. The roundtable will begin Friday, March 15th, at 11:30 a.m. at Callaway's Event Center and is open to the public.
The cost is $15 dollars for Chamber members and $30 for non-members.
