SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Fareway Supermarket has opened its doors in Sioux Falls giving shoppers a new choice to buy groceries.
“This is a great opportunity for us,” said Jeff McElvain, Store Manager. “Sioux Falls is a great community and we are glad to be here. We have been welcomed by the customers who have come into the store so far”
McElvain said we pride ourselves with fresh cut meats; customers will not find pre-wrapped meat. We also take pride in carrying customer’s groceries to their cars for them; you don’t see that much anymore.
“When people come into our store, they will see a difference in what we do compared to the other stores in the area,” said McElvain.
Mary Johnson was shopping in the newly opened store, and said she is glad there is a new choice in town to buy groceries. “The more the better!” she said.
