Rapid City, SD (KELO AM) - Saying President Barack Obama has violated his Oath of Office, delegates to the South Dakota Republican Party convention have passed a resolution calling for the impeachment of President Obama. The vote was 191 – 176 in favor of the resolution.
The resolution also cites the trade of five Guantanimo detainees for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, The Affordable Care Act statements made and the Environmental Protection Agency power plant regulations as other reasons for impeachment.
The South Dakota Democratic Party has called on U.S. Senate candidate Mike Rounds to state where he stands on the resolution, and for Senator Thune and Representative Kristi Noem to reject the resolution.
