Undated (KELO-AM) Lincoln County wants flood victims to call 211 to report their damage, even if the damage has already been fixed.
County Emergency Manager Harold Timmerman says the citizen reports by phone will help the county compile more exact numbers for State officials and for FEMA on the magnitude of last week's flooding.
Timmerman says you should also dial 211 if you want to volunteer to help in the continuing flood recovery in Lincoln County.
Governor Daugaard has requested that FEMA and the Small Business Administration join state teams assessing the flood damage in Southeastern South Dakota. Its the first step to determine if the area will qualify for federal aid and loans.
