SIOUX FALLS, S.D (KELO AM). – On Monday, May 27, the South Dakota Department of Transportation will begin repairing the bridge deck and barrier curb for the Interstate 90 bridges over Interstate 29.
I-90 will be reduced to one lane each for east and westbound traffic and speed limits will be reduced to 45 mph through the interchange on I-90 for the duration of the work.
Ramp traffic will be maintained throughout the project, but room for merging traffic will be very limited. Motorists using the I-29 and I-90 interchange should be aware of the construction activities, equipment and personnel in the area and use caution when proceeding through the interchange.
The prime contractor for this project is SFC Civil Constructors of Sioux Falls.
