Undated (KWSN) - The latest NCAA FCS Coaches’ Poll was released today, following the first full week of NCAA Football action. As expected NDSU stayed atop the poll following a convincing win over Iowa State, the Bison’s 5th consecutive win over a school from the top level of college football. Eastern Washington remained #2 following two wins over Stephen F Austin in the FCS kickoff game and over NAIA Montana-Western. Southeastern Louisiana and Montana remained 3 and 5, respectively. While the only change in the top 5 saw Costal Carolina move up to #4.
SDSU dropped one spot to #11 following the Jacks week one loss to Missouri. The biggest movers in the poll included Richmond, as the Spiders jumped 4 places to #20 and Villinova, who went from #13 to #7 despite an overtime loss to Syracuse. The Townson Tigers fell from #7 all the way down to #19 on the heels of a 31-27 loss to Central Connecticut State.
