Keep track of the gold, silver, and bronze medal counts for the United States and all countries around the world competing in the Olympics.

It’s time once again for the best athletes in the world to gather and compete for a chance to become the medal champion in their sport. Over the course of 3 weeks from February 6th through February 23rd, Sochi, Russia in conjunction with Krasnaya Polyanaare is hosting 98 events in 15 winter sport disciplines. The world will be watching as the Americans seek the overall medal count title. KTWB, KRRO, KELO-FM, KELO-AM, KWSN, and KQSF are providing in-depth coverage throughout the championships through sports updates, games, events and anchored coverage in addition to an online section dedicated to covering our local North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota and Canadian athletes.

Zach Parise

Zach Parise is an American professional ice hockey left winger and alternate captain for the Minnesota Wild. Parise spent two seasons at the University of North Dakota. Parise was an alternate captain for the 2010 Winter Olympics and scored the tying goal late in the gold medal game against Canada to send it the game overtime. The team finished with a silver medal.

T.J. Oshie

T.J. Oshie is an American professional ice hockey center currently playing for the St. Louis Blues. Oshie was a high school allstar playing for Warroad High School in Warroad, MN. In 2005, he played for the Sioux Falls Stampede for 11 games and was drafted for the St. Louis Blues in the offseason. He played for the University of North Dakota following the draft for three seasons.

Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux (Pictured: Jocelyne)

Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux, twin sisters, are both American ice hockey forwards who earned silver in the 2010 Winter Olympics with Team USA. Monique and Jocelyne were born in Grand Forks, ND. Both went on to play for the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux. Their father also played as a backup goaltender for UND.

Gigi Marvin

Gisele or "Gigi" Marvin is a member of the United States National Women's Ice Hockey Team. She competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics, winning a silver medal with Team USA. Marvin is from Warroad, MN and led the Warroad Warriors to a 18-5-1 record in her time there. She went on to play at the University of Minnesota where she played a pivotal role as a leading scorer.
