SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — truShrimp is re-energizing their investor drive with a downscaled shrimp production project planned for Madison, South Dakota.
truShrimp CEO Michael Ziebell says the new proposal for Madison Bay Harbor comes in at the cost of $100 million, two-thirds of the original facility’s cost.
He says they also have a new timeline for the fresh-water shrimp production harbor and a 10-year marketing agreement for all the shrimp they can produce.
truShrimp will be holding their first in-person equity drive meeting at the District in Sioux Falls Thursday.
truShrimp is also offering several virtual meetings with dates to be announced on their website.
They hold the patent for the first fresh-water shrimp production technique globally and will utilize area soybeans as their feed source.
