MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Mitchell School Board has approved the district’s Safe Return to School Protocols.
Superintendent Joe Graves says the board adopted it as it was published in July.
Masks are not required but may be worn by anyone preferring to do so.
A larger than usual gathering of parents and community members urged the board to avoid mask mandates stating a variety of reasons.
Mitchell’s first day of school is August 18th.
