HARRISBURG, S.D. (KELO.com) — A pursuit in Lincoln County Wednesday, that started near Harrisburg High School, had a motorcycle reaching speeds over 120 mph. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says they tried to stop the motorcycle for speeding but the driver took off at a high rate of speed, at times splitting traffic down the middle of the road. The pursuit went east out town toward the Lake Alvin area. A 31-year-old male from Harrisburg was eventually taken into custody. He is in the Minnehaha County Jail facing numerous charges.
