SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Surveillance footage has led to the arrest of the suspect in the shooting that took place last Wednesday at the 18th Amendment in Sioux Falls.
The shooting occurred after two people started fighting one another outside of the bar.
The suspect, 26-year-old Deng Ayom, fired a weapon multiple times during the fight, striking a vehicle and the front entrance of the bar.
Authorities were able to identify Ayom from footage provided by the bar, and on Monday, placed a $100,000 warrant out for his arrest.
Ayom was arrested on Tuesday by members of the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office.
His charges include Aggravated Assault and Firing a Weapon at an Occupied Structure.
No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.
