Potential trouble for Sanford/Fairview merger

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Trouble may be brewing for Sanford Health’s proposed merger with Fairview Health of Minnesota.  The Minnesota legislature is working on a proposal to give veto power to the attorney general over hospital and clinic mergers.  Fairview is Minnesota’s teaching hospital, and there has been opposition to the merger among some education and health officials, as well as among legislators.
