SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — They’re trying to deal with the growing number of patients with diabetes. Mount Marty University and Avera Health are offering a one-year online course to bring nurse practitioners from across the country to Avera Health in South Dakota. The program is aimed specifically at rural areas. Recruiting has already begun. The certificate program is a one-year, online, 10-credit course. The plan is to have students learning at Avera Health by the start of the new year.
