SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Wreaths Across America is coming to the new Veterans Cemetery near Sioux Falls. A wreath laying ceremony will be held Saturday, December 16. The ceremony will be held at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery Committal Shelter (25965 477 th Avenue) starting at 11:00 am CT in Sioux Falls. Immediately following the 30-minute program, guests will be encouraged to assist in placing wreaths at all veterans’ graves. Cemetery Director Erin Brown says over 350 wreaths will be placed. The event is co-sponsored by the South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs, in partnership with the Midwest Honor Flight and Wreaths Across America.
