SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KWSN.com) — A pair of University of Sioux Falls basketball players have received first-team all-conference honors.
Junior guard Anna Brecht with the women’s team and senior forward Teathloach Pal of the men’s team were both named first-team all-NSIC Wednesday.
Brecht, who transferred from DI Wisconsin-Green Bay, is averaging 18.0 points per game, good for third in the NSIC. She has a league-high seven 20-point games. Her Cougars play their first-round NSIC tournament game Thursday at 10am; you can hear the game on 98.1 FM, AM 1230 and KWSN.com.
Pal earns his second straight all-conference honor; he was second-team all-league a year ago. He averaged 14.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game this year; the latter number ranked fourth in the NSIC.
