SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Here’s Thursday’s crime news from the Sioux Falls Police briefing.
ROBBERS ROB CABBIE–AND TAKE HIS CAB
The authorities are looking for two men who stole a cab and the cab driver’s phone early this morning.
The cabbie picked up the two men in the 4200 block of 41st Street.
He took them to a couple of stops.
At 28th Street and Prairie, one of the men pulled a gun on the driver.
They took his cell phone and his vehicle.
Police say they have a vague description of the robbers.
The cab driver was not injured.
MOM ARRESTED FOR SPANKING HER CHILD WITH A SPATULA
Sioux Falls Police say they arrested a mother for spanking her ten-year-old daughter with a spatula yesterday (Wednesday).
Someone heard a disturbance and called the police.
Tiara Skye Sails, 27, from Sioux Falls, is charged with cruelty or abuse to a minor.
The incident occurred in the 34th and Center area.
The child was not injured.
