Statement from Laurie Hoffman, SFCBB coordinator:
“We are astonished and beyond grateful by the overwhelming response received by this year’s Heroes Behind the Badges! You all have provided such hope to our community and patients during what has been the most difficult time to get blood. Thank you for making this event possible and giving of your time, talents, and leadership to help this event succeed beyond expectations. We had blood throughout the holidays and were able to address the demands placed on our hospitals because of this special event! Thank you, thank you!!”
