MADISON, S.D. (KELO.com) — Lake County, South Dakota, residents have reported receiving phone calls from their sheriff threatening to issue a warrant for their arrest if they don’t pay on a failure to report for jury duty violation. Tim Walburg, Lake County Sheriff, advised on social media to ignore the calls and do not give out information over the phone. He adds, if anyone has questions as to whether he tried to contact them, they should call the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 605-256-7615.
