SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The verdict is in on state Senator Julie Frye-Mueller.
Moments ago, the full senate body convened and voted 33-1 to formally censure Frye-Mueller.
They also voted to reinstate the Senator following her brief suspension from the Senate body.
The Senate held the vote at 2 p.m. today following a brief meeting earlier this afternoon that recommended a censure report to be voted on.
Frye-Mueller was previously suspended for a conversation she had with a state employee regarding breastfeeding and child vaccinations.
The report passed by the Senate also restricts contact between the Senator and Legislative Research Council Staff.
