SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — You may not think of Sioux Falls as a tourist destination, but it’s big business. The city received over a million visitors last year. Those visitors created nearly a half-billion dollars in economic activity. “Experience Sioux Falls” is wrapping Uber and Lyft vehicles in larger regional cities with ads in an effort to move the numbers higher. Marketing Director Krista Orsac says they’re targeting some high-profile events.
The College World Series in Omaha is also being targeted with the new ads.
