ABERDEEN, S.D. (KELO.com) — A snake causes a brief power outage to thousands in Aberdeen.
More than 3,300 NorthWestern customers lost power for about an hour.
The company says a bird dropped a 3-foot-long garter snake into a substation.
The snake lived through the ordeal, but its current condition is unknown.
