WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) — Senator Mike Rounds has good news for Israel.
Yesterday Rounds announced that the Department of Defense will transfer two Iron Dome systems to Israel.
These systems are currently in possession of the United States and are not being utilized.
The announcement to transfer these Iron Dome systems comes after Rounds led a bipartisan letter urging the DOD to take this action as Israel continues to face rocket and missile attacks from Hamas and Hezbollah.
In a statement Rounds said, “The United States must do everything we can to help our ally as they continue to defend their nation against terrorist attacks.”
