FARGO, N.D. (KELO.com) — The South Dakota State University football team will put its No. 1 ranking on the line and pursue more history Saturday night, when it travels to second-ranked North Dakota State.
Kickoff for the annual Dakota Marker game is set for 7 p.m. at the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota. The game will be played before a national television audience on ESPN2.
The top-ranked Jackrabbits enter the matchup with a 5-1 overall record, including convincing wins over Northern Iowa (41-3) and Youngstown State (63-13) to begin Missouri Valley Football Conference play. SDSU has won 19 MVFC regular season games in a row dating back to late in the 2021 season, matching the league record set by North Dakota State from 2017-20.
The Bison hold a 6-1 record so far this season and are 3-0 in the MVFC following a 24-3 victory last week at Southern Illinois.
