SPRINGFIELD, SD (KELO.com) — A former state prison employee has been sentenced to 90 days in prison. 36-year old Cassandra Jelsma pleaded guilty to a charge of a Prohibited Sexual Act with a prisoner. The incidents occurred in late 2022 and early 23, involving a prisoner at the Springfield prison.
