Attorney General Marty
There could be a showdown of sorts between the Attorneys General of North and South Dakota. North Dakota’s Drew Wrigley is threatening to sue South Dakota to overturn a new law protecting landowners from eminent domain claims for Carbon Capture pipelines. South Dakota’s Marty Jackley says the Legislature voted for the private property rights of landowners by wide margins, and citizens voted decisively on the issue. Jackley says he will defend South Dakota’s laws.
