USD withdraws their intent to fire art professor Michael Hook after despite his inflammatory social media posts

Vermillion, SD (KELO.com) — The University of South Dakota has changed course in dealing with a professor it recently threatened to fire. Art Professor Michael Hook sued after making inflammatory comments about the Charlie Kirk assassination, which generated a termination notice. School officials say he took down the post and apologized, so they’re withdrawing the intent to terminate his contract.
