Aberdeen native Gena Jorgenson has been named to the USA National Swim Team for the 2028 Olympics

Aberdeen native Gena Jorgenson has achieved a life-long dream by being named to the USA National Swim Team for the 28 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. She’s an All-American at the University of Nebraska. According to the Dakota Scout, she says competing still seems like a long shot, with 105 swimmers selected. At the least, she hopes to be able to attend to cheer on her teammates.
