(South Dakota) — South Dakota’s pheasant hunting season is now underway. The traditional season began this last weekend and will run until January 31st. Among the hunters taking part in the season is Governor Larry Rhoden who, along with his hunting party, bagged over 100 birds on Saturday, according to his Facebook page. Rhoden says it’s more than a South Dakota tradition; it’s part of who we are.
