PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — With South Dakota’s GOP Gubernatorial field now cut in half, people are wondering about the outcome of the runoff. Aberdeen businessman Toby Doeden and Governor Larry Rhoden survived the Primary election, but neither got more than 35-percent of the vote. That’s the percentage required to win the Primary outright. The runoff vote will be held July 28th, as the two compete to face Democrat Dan Ahlers in the general election.
