SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A suspect in a deadly beating at Cherry Rock Park in Sioux Falls last September pleads guilty. Chaska Little Bear was scheduled for trial in January. Instead, he’s pleading guilty to first degree manslaughter and faces a likely ten year prison term. Little Bear is believed to have been the lookout for three other suspects who jumped 51 year old Thomas Fernandez in the park and beat him. Fernandez died in the hospital several days later.
