Sioux Falls woman scammed on Tik Tok

Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) — Another online scam finds a victim in Sioux Falls who has lost hundreds of thousands of dollars as a result. Police Information Officer, Sergeant Aaron Bensen says a woman met a man on Tik Tok who promised to set up a million-dollar account in her name if she first paid taxes. Police say it’s nearly impossible to get the money back and urge people to stop and ask questions before sending money online.
