ABERDEEN, SD (KELO.com) — A regional drug kingpin has lost his appeal on a prison sentence of more than 30 years. Edwin Salinas was convicted by a federal jury in Aberdeen, and sentenced last September. He was arrested with an estimated 2-million dollars worth of cartel-sourced fentanyl powder, and nearly 50-thousand pills laced with a horse tranquilizer – a deadly combination that carries the street name “tranq”.
