High Demand Has Grant County’s Only Licensed Childcare Center Opening a Third Location

GRANT COUNTY, SD (KELO.com) — Grant County’s only licensed childcare center is opening a third location due to high demand.

Backyard Bulldogs Child Care director Kelsey Buttke says the first two centers are at capacity, and she’s had to turn families away.

 The Grant County Development Corporation received a $75,000 grant to help solve the problem, which officials say is having a negative impact on employment.
