SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls City Councilor David Barranco has passed away from cancer. His wife Catherine stated, “The most incredible man I’ve ever known has gone home. God gave me the gift of wonderful memories with David.” Barranco was elected in 2022 to represent the city’s southeast district. He’s survived by his wife, and sons Christopher and William. The family is planning a private funeral service with a public celebration of life later this summer.
